Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register?
Registrations are completed online by going to playnrl.com. This is for players, team staff & volunteers. The Club Finder will direct you to your local club's registration form.
What happens now I have submitted a clearance?
Your current Club will need to approve your request, and this will be assessed by NSWRL. They will be actioned in Mid Feb/March.
When does training start?
Once teams are finalised, coaches will notify the committee on their availability. Normally Internationals return early Feb and Juniors return late Feb/early March.
What gear do I get?
Each year players get playing socks and shorts. We alternate between Club Polos (odd years e.g. 2023) and Training Gear (even years e.g. 2024)
It's raining, is the game off?
We will make a decision as soon as possible. All information is posted to our social media and group chats, Please check there.
Where are the fields located?
Our home ground is at Keith Barry Oval, please click here for address and map location. For other ground locations, please click here to Field Locations. This will give you the field name and a map of the location of the ground.
Do I need to wear a mouth guard?
We support & strongly recommend that players wear a mouthguard when participating in Rugby League during contact training and games. Custom-fitted mouthguards is the recommended & ideal form. Please consult your dentist.
Do I need to wear head gear?
Head gear is not compulsory. Players have the option of wearing and is an individual decision.
What do I need to volunteer?
It is a requirement that all volunteers have a valid NSW Working with Children Check before registering as a volunteer. Please click here to apply.
Where can I find NRL courses?
All course required to be a Coach, Trainer and other positions are listed on the NRL Learning Centre. To be a Coach or Trainer you must provide evidence of completed NRL Education.
